Departure of CFO Lothar Determann

Lothar Determann, CFO of Carl Zeiss Meditec AG (ISIN: DE0005313704) will be leaving the company effective from May 31, 2023 at his own request to take on new challenges outside the Carl Zeiss Group.

Daniela Söllner takes over as CFO

The Supervisory Board has appointed Daniela Söllner as new CFO with effect from June 1, 2023.

Profile Daniela Söllner

Daniela Söllner has been working at Carl Zeiss Meditec AG since 2009 and has held various management positions, most recently as Vice President Controlling since 2018. In this role, she is responsible for the control of all financial processes and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Before joining Carl Zeiss Meditec AG, Daniela Söllner worked for nine years at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in the field of auditing financial statements and consulting. She has in-depth knowledge of international financial reporting standards (IFRS) accounting and experience in the evaluation and preparation of financial forecasts.

Daniela Söllner studied business administration with a focus on auditing at the European Business School (EBS) in Oestrich-Winkel, Germany, where she graduated with honors. She is a certified public accountant (CPA) and holds an MBA from the Open University Business School in the UK.
